Physical exchange data on LitPol and NordBalt
Nord Pool Spot will start to publish physical exchange on the new interconnections between Sweden and Lithuania and between Lithuania and Poland. The new data will be available on Nord Pool Spot's FTP server and website from 9 December.
The physical exchange data will be added into the pose-file and the polt-file in a separate row showing the measured hourly flow between SE4-LT and LT-PL.

Introduction of LitPol and NordBalt interconnectors
On Tuesday 8 December, for delivery on 9 December, Nord Pool Spot will launch data for the interconnections Sweden – Lithuania (NordBalt) and Poland – Lithuania (LitPol) on the webside, FTP server and feed. At the same time we will also introduce a new optimizing area in Poland called PLA. These changes will affect several files on the FTP server and feed.

NorNet cable loss factor data
Nord Pool Spot has started to publish data including the loss factor on the NorNed cable.

New data on Nord Pool Spot FTP server
Monday 21 September Nord Pool Spot will launch a new file called ‘’ecap’’. The file will contain daily transmission capacity prognosis figures based on information from our UMM system. The same information is also available on our web page.
The file will be updated every Friday afternoon and contain the lowest capacity value for each day on each connection for the following week.
At the same time we will also update the ‘’pono file’’ to contain accumulated totals for production, consumption, physical exchange and average prices and total volumes from the RK market during the current day.

N2EX day-ahead total turnover available on the website
N2EX total turnover is now published on the website along with N2EX buy and sell day-ahead volumes. The total turnover represents the total volume traded on the N2EX day-ahead market including the market coupling volume.

N2EX intraday data available on N2EX FTP server
Nord Pool Spot has introduced a new intraday (spot) market platform for its UK market N2EX. This is the first step in Nord Pool Spot’s ambitions of establishing an integrated European intraday market across all its power markets in Germany, UK, Nordic and Baltic countries.
In order to improve transparency on the intraday market, Nord Pool Spot has decided to publish a ticker file with all trades on the N2EX FTP server.

New information in Nord Pool Spots Elbas ticker data file
Nord Pool Spot will update the Elbas ticker data file with more information. We will add a currency field and a cancellation field in the file. The currency field will show the currency to every trade made and cancellation field will show if a trade has been cancelled.
0 will be for confirmed trades and 1 for cancelled trades. See example below:

Swedish wind power production data available on nordpoolspot.com and on the FTP server
Nord Pool Spot has started publishing Swedish actual hourly wind power production recieved from Svenska Kraftnät.
The wind power production data for all 24 hours is updated once a day between 04.00 and 18.00 CET for the previous day. The new data is available on the web under Production and on the FTP server in the pose file.
